Helping Children Learn Mindfulness Skills by Konstantin Lukin, Ph.D., Bergen County Moms

Mindfulness has been a traditional Buddhist practice for about 3,000 years and for many of us we are only recently hearing about it. Sometimes we wonder how much better off our mental health would be if we learned these skills early.

Calm Mindfulness for Kids is a great book by Wynne Kinder, M.Ed to read with your children to start their exposure now! Mindfulness skills will improve the behavior and emotional well-being for all kids, especially those with early signs of anxiety.

Thank you to our friend and local literary expert Hillary Brady from Peguin Random for the recommendation!
