Meet the Lukins!
One thing you may not know about the Lukin Center is that it is family-owned and operated by two clinical psychologists. Dr. Konstantin Lukin and Dr. Paula Yanes-Lukin founded the practice in 2014 and are so grateful that is has grown to reach so many. They now have locations in Ridgewood, Clifton, Englewood, Hoboken and Jersey City.
Dr. Konstantin Lukin, Ph.D. is the co-founder and director. He has extensive clinical and research experience working with client's of all ages and has specific training in cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, schema-focused, and emotionally focused therapies. For his own clients, Dr. Lukin specializes in men’s issues and couple’s counseling. For the practice, Dr. Konstantin Lukin takes pride in screening every call, email, and message they receive to make sure each client gets the best possible care.
Dr. Paula Yanes-Lukin, also the co-founder and clinical director, takes a direct approach in supervising and molding their clinicians to be the best that they can be in helping others. She is an Assistant Professor and Director of Psychology at the Youth Treatment and Evaluation of Anxiety and Mood (Y-TEAM) Program/Children’s Day Unit (CDU) at Columbia University and is always available to our clinicians for consultation. Dr. Paula Yanes-Lukin brings a unique perspective to the practice and is dedicated to growth individually and as a practice.
