Looking for adventure, luxury and seclusion for the rest of 2020 and beyond? You should consider a stay at a remote resort in the USA. For the next six weeks, we will feature one incredible resort each week!
Week #3: The Point on Saranac Lake in New York
The third resort we picked for our feature of 6 secluded US resorts is The Point on Saranac Lake, New York.
With only four lodges with 11 rooms total (each with its own personality), The Point was built by the Rockefellers as a secluded woodland escape. Nowadays, it functions as an adult-only resort nestled on the shores of Upper Saranac Lake, secluded among the expanse of the Adirondack Mountains.
In spring and summer, you should explore the lake and all its activities including boating, fishing, water skiing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding.
In the colder months, while it’s tempting to cozy up next to the wood-burning fireplaces in each room, cold-weather sports such as skiing and ice skating will also beckon guests.
