The Montessori Learning Center is the best kept secret in town - founded in 1975, they are the longest established Montessori school in Ridgewood. The Montessori Learning Center offers a blended Montessori program, with an incredible loving team of certified teachers that work one on one with your child.
Their programs focus on creating educational experiences that are interesting, challenging and fun for each child, while striking the optimum balance between free expression and structured limits. They concentrate on basic skills in both the language and math areas while also enriching the curriculum with cultural activities, geography, art theory and history, crafts, creative dramatics and music. Logical thinking and problem solving are a strong focus of this program.
Their science and culture curriculum takes place in the Discovery Room which builds on your child's wonder and offers activities that allow them to discover answers on their own.
Teachers take unique roles as classroom guides and observers, providing children with the freedom and opportunity to learn at their own pace within a carefully prepared, stimulating environment.

To meet the needs of working parents and schedules of active families, MLC will be offering before and after care (7:30am – 6pm) to all children.
