Saddle River Day School Announces NEW PreK-3 Class for 2021-2022 School Year + Open House, Bergen County Moms

Saddle River Day School is excited to announce the expansion of our Early Childhood Program with the addition of a Pre-K 3’s class for the 2021-2022 school year. As the starting point for a child’s journey at Saddle River Day School, this program is designed to meet the unique needs of young learners fostering their social, emotional and academic development.

Our core values, Everyone Counts, Love of Learning and Intellectual Risk Taking are the framework for our program. It is our belief that positive early school experiences set the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Children in a warm and nurturing environment, thrive in life.

Students in our program spend each day engaged in meaningful learning experiences fostering the development of their emergent language skills, foundational academic skills and social skills by playing and learning cooperatively with their peers and interacting with teachers mindful of the specific needs of 3 year olds.

As part of the SRDS community, Pre-K 3 will participate in special area classes such as science in our lab and art in our studio designed specifically for our lower school learners, play on a playground “just their size” and explore a new language.

You are invited to visit our campus during one of our Open Houses:

Monday, October 19th at 4pm

Saturday, November 7th at 10am

Please RSVP to Kris Sweeny in the Office of Admissions (ksweeny@saddleriverday.org) or (201) 327- 4050 ext. 1105.

Watch your child grow from a student into a scholar—and into a lifetime of success.

From exploring Spanish, music and lab-based science beginning in Pre-K to hosting a TEDxYouth Conference in high school … from active play to competing on a championship Rebel Athletics team … inspiring success starts right from the beginning at Saddle River Day School.

Here, learning begins with an intriguing problem to solve, a story that captivates or a question that provokes curiosity—and the personal connection between teachers and students motivates everyone. To develop holistic, “right-brain” thinkers, we integrate science, technology, engineering, art and math, and celebrate different ways to solve real problems.

SRDS graduates from recent years are thriving at top colleges like Boston College, NYU and Stanford. They are creative individuals inspired to think, solve and achieve—in academics and in life.
