Yay! It’s time for another Splash of Color– our Countdown to Spring! For those just popping in, I am doing a 10 week post series about adding color to your wardrobe. We have already talked about adding RED and BLUSH PINK to your wardrobe, today let’s talk about my favorite color: PURPLE!

One amazing thing about purple — it looks good on everyone! Especially if you’re wearing a jewel tone purple, you can’t go wrong. There are just so many shades of purple – from lavender to plum, so I tried to find a variety of shades and items.

Purple is actually my favorite color, and I was looking through my closet for something to highlight in today’s post, I couldn’t believe how little I have! I found this pretty (old) BCBG silk blouse — I LOVE the color, and I had completely forgotten about it. So, if nothing else, maybe these posts will make you dig through your closet to see what you already own and bring it back to life! (And if you need some closet cleanout ideas: check out this post!)

When trying to add color to your wardrobe, it’s always easy to start with accessories, like a scarf or gloves. However, these purple dresses below are making me yearn for Spring!
