Discover the Beauty of Europe in the Fall by Anna Fishman

Updated: Oct 20, 2020

Shoulder Season can be the best time to go to Europe - after the summer when the weather is still good, crowds are gone and the kids have gone back to school.

If you want cooler temperatures, plenty of daylight and beautiful European vistas, a trip in late September and in October can be your best bet.

As grapes get ready to be harvested in Italy, the rolling hills are majestic with beautiful color. Enjoy private wine tasting tours and incredible culinary experiences without the hustle and bustle of summer crowds.

In Greece, the sea still retains some of the heat from long summer days, and lovely tavernas offer fresh seafood, wine, and other local delicacies. Beautiful sunsets can make either location unforgettable and postcard-worthy.

The good news is that there is still limited availability across some of our favorite European destinations during those months!
