Camp Veritans Day Camp isn't your average summer program. Nestled on 60 sprawling acres in Haledon, NJ, we provide an unforgettable experience for children ages 3-15, filled with adventure, discovery, lasting memories and lifelong friendships.
More Than Just Fun: Building Confidence and Fostering Community
Our program goes WAY beyond keeping kids entertained and engaged. We offer a variety of activities designed to cultivate friendships, build confidence, and spark creativity. From exciting outdoor adventures and sports leagues to daily Red Cross swim instruction, arts exploration and STEM, there's something for every camper to discover and excel in.
Safety is our top priority. Camp Veritans boasts a nurturing environment with a full-time police officer, registered nurse, social worker and dedicated counselors and leadership team who ensure every child feels comfortable and supported. Our inclusive and engaging activities promote a sense of community and teamwork, allowing campers to connect with others and build lasting friendships.

Kristi Clave, Camp Director
With over 13 years at Camp Veritans under her belt, Kristi is thrilled to be returning as Camp Veritans Director! Kristi brings a wealth of experience and exceptional leadership skills honed from her diverse background. As a certified teacher, Special Olympics and Unified Sports coach and mother, she understands the magic of creating a fun and enriching environment where every child thrives. Her passion for children, combined with her proven ability to teach and inspire others, promises a positive, kind and accepting camp experience for all. Get ready for an unforgettable summer under Kristi's leadership!
Allison Goodman, BCBA, Upper Camp Program Director
After spending more than ten summers at Camp Veritans, Allie is excited to be taking on a new set of challenges and responsibilities. Allie has transformed from camper to counselor to Masada Unit Leader and now takes the lead as Upper Camp Program Director. Her familiarity with Camp Veritans ensures a smooth experience for older campers. During the school year, Allie puts her expertise to work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This summer, Allie will not only be our Upper Camp Program Director, but she is thrilled to continue as the Unit Leader of Camp Veritans’ teen trip and travel program.
Robyn Murray, Lower Camp Program Director
With over 30 years of teaching experience and a longtime Camp Veritans Unit Leader, Robyn brings dedication and expertise to her new role as Lower Camp Program Director planning and coordinating programming and fun for campers entering Pre-K3 through 3rd grade. In addition to her role as Lower Camp Program Director, Robyn will continue as Unit Leader for 2nd and 3rd graders this summer!
Memories Made Easy: Convenience and Peace of Mind
Camp Veritans takes care of everything for your camper and their summer experience. Convenient daily transportation to and from our campgrounds is included, along with delicious hot lunches and snacks to keep your child fueled for a day of excitement. Programming and trips (2nd grade and up) are all included, in addition to daily swim instruction in our spacious pool, for all ages.

Camp Veritans Day Camp, accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), has provided an exciting and enriching summer experience for children ages 3-15 for over 75 years. With transportation provided to and from our 60-acre campgrounds in Haledon, NJ, summer for you and your child has never been more convenient and FUN. We offer exciting camp activities that cultivate friendships, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
Our program is designed to keep children active and engaged all day with outdoor adventure courses and sports programming, daily Red Cross swim instruction, creative arts exploration, STEM programming, unique special activities and even dynamic trips for campers entering 2nd grade and up.
At Camp Veritans, we prioritize safety and ensure a nurturing environment where campers can discover new talents and interests and challenge themselves. We believe in fostering a sense of community and teamwork through our inclusive and engaging activities.
Transportation, hot lunch and snacks are provided daily. Full-time police officer, registered nurse and social worker on staff.
