Parenting is mostly flying by the seat of your pants, right? You make it up as you go. How many times have you wished your kids came with a manual so you'd always know what to do and say?

We joke about that manual a lot. Underneath the laughter is a real yearning for basic skills and principles you can count on to guide you through most situations, and for support and community.

The yearning days are over.

This is why I created The Roadmap for Moms of Teens to provide the 'what' and the 'how'. Change is most definitely possible and doable, EVEN IF YOU THINK IT'S TOO LATE. I know, because I once believed it was too late for my family.

The Roadmap is a comprehensive program designed to explore the many aspects of being a mother to your teen and how to effectively create change in your family.  You will be guided and supported in putting the pieces together.

Learn effective ways to identify what you're dealing with and your personal blocks, acquire new strategies (including lots of time on new language for better communication), and test and revise that new learning, as needed.

The beauty and comfort of this program is that you do it in community. It takes a village to raise a mom, too!

Fern Weis is a certified life coach who learned that caring and good intentions are not enough in parenting.  In fact, they are often the problem! Fern supports parents of teens and young adults who are going through difficult situations, including addiction recovery.  She helps parents release guilt, end enabling and confidently prepare their children to thrive through life's challenges. Her articles are featured in Thrive Global, Medium, Motherly, The Teen Mentor, and Bergen County Moms.
